After 18 years as a valued and much loved member of the group Daphne is sadly leaving us.<p></p><p>Always modest and self-deprecating Daphne has produced an amazing array of work for group exhibitions.</p><p>We wanted to mark Daphne's amazing contribution to Out of the Fold and to present her with a gift as a reminder of her stitching friends. </p><p>Current and past members were invited to make a 6" square on the theme of 'Orchard' and these have been made up into a quilted wall-hanging. The piece will be on display at the Textiles East Fair on Sat 10th and Sun 11th February 2024. Can you spot the individual makers?</p><p>We wish Daphne and her family all the very best for the future </p><p>Click on the video link below to see the individual squares and their makers<br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dzO3xAo_X5Uu-cE-Chg7P4VrgWLzgd0I24gDiXbbl8xV3nB-wHVckHnrS31f9aiHAWMh_lWbbZgCQ1Hg5G3GQ' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div><br /> <p></p><p><br /><br /></p>Out Of The Fold Textile Grouphttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02738197070451257349noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9048256344961462879.post-92062515514189155342024-02-09T18:48:00.000+00:002024-02-09T18:48:25.920+00:00Textiles East Fair<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg99GOrFfpwR4lpqaZywpFVHY6d3pGMtlO-L-9WTJEnN4hvFdwtRM1khmCkygzzdGK1uwKGpJQxO0f3UUsu0uiIhT2kDgCqGOji2FkdWVET9u4k4Ujk-NI1eVDq4rgisJPnznmgFFKcS6efTNNuP91CdO_XvBZmhEaJRJTwHuNAKlFYkgXCjl_R4gwEcul0/s1123/TEF%20Advertising%202024.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1123" data-original-width="787" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg99GOrFfpwR4lpqaZywpFVHY6d3pGMtlO-L-9WTJEnN4hvFdwtRM1khmCkygzzdGK1uwKGpJQxO0f3UUsu0uiIhT2kDgCqGOji2FkdWVET9u4k4Ujk-NI1eVDq4rgisJPnznmgFFKcS6efTNNuP91CdO_XvBZmhEaJRJTwHuNAKlFYkgXCjl_R4gwEcul0/s320/TEF%20Advertising%202024.png" width="224" /></a></div>All 12 current members of Out of the Fold will be showing work as part of our exhibition at Textiles East Fair on Sat 10th and Sunday 11th Feb 2024<p></p><p>We will be showing our 'Unfolding' series first seen in the Bury St Edmunds exhibition last year but this series will also have new work on this theme by Phillip Rees, Mary McIntosh and our newest member Beverley Youngman.</p><p>The 'Unfolding' fans will be on display - one of the most challenging of our challenges with members showing their creativity and technical skills</p><p>We are also exhibiting a range of framed work - new and old - and offering a range of handmade items for sale. </p><p>Burgess Hall, St Ives, Cambs, PE27 6WU</p><p><a href="https://textileseastfair.wordpress.com/">https://textileseastfair.wordpress.com/</a><br /></p>Out Of The Fold Textile Grouphttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02738197070451257349noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9048256344961462879.post-57202100592438902102023-12-28T15:45:00.000+00:002023-12-28T15:45:14.333+00:00New Member Beverley Youngman<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkfYZVSndjz6RD3hMRfwf5UchdaCibk3YLu36GZMIAh6K7b7hu3OuTAmuAzuG4QdBUP_6kHdvEEUluGpMvumcwoyjYFF59cfUc-CMFjcjobjcAf9ar8sT0DxrZufDWeKDBOGOw_I-ifCiX7izJuEmRMFvP7rngdqNFs-o9cDax_VOA00ZRB6QhFJOQuhqG/s640/Beverley.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="562" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkfYZVSndjz6RD3hMRfwf5UchdaCibk3YLu36GZMIAh6K7b7hu3OuTAmuAzuG4QdBUP_6kHdvEEUluGpMvumcwoyjYFF59cfUc-CMFjcjobjcAf9ar8sT0DxrZufDWeKDBOGOw_I-ifCiX7izJuEmRMFvP7rngdqNFs-o9cDax_VOA00ZRB6QhFJOQuhqG/s320/Beverley.jpg" width="281" /></a></div>Beverley Youngman is joining Out of the Fold from January 2024<p></p><p>Beverley's creative journey and explorations involve her getting outdoors and experiencing and responding to natural forms.
