Mary will be demonstrating removing colour from cloth with a technique she calls 'Life's a Bleach!'










 followed up by a second process adding colour as well as taking it out called 'Once more unto the Bleach!'

Denny Brothers exhibition fast approaching

Out of the Fold members are adding the last stitches to pieces of textile art to be displayed at Denny Brothers Art gallery in Bury St Edmunds from 7th - 14th October 2017

Exhibition in Bury St Edmunds

Out of the Fold have an exhibition of framed and mounted work in the first floor gallery at Denny Brothers Art Shop coming up in october. Ideal opportunity to find the perfect Christmas gift for th textile lover in your life.

Mary is Highly Commended

Mary McIntosh had three quilts on display at the Festival of Quilts 2017 and was pleased to be awarded a Highly Commended for her miniature 'Copper Coil'

 Mary also had an entry into the Contemporary section of the show with a piece called Copper Bleach

Lynne wins 'little' award

Congratulations to Lynne Pretty who won first prize in the Quilters Guild miniature display at the Festival of Quilts 2017

The Quilters Guild asked each region to submit 3 mini quilts 12inch x 6inch landscape to be exhibited at the NEC. These pieces to be made by non-miniature group members.
Visitors to the show were asked to vote for their favourite piece.

Out of the East to travel to East Midlands

Out of the Fold will exhibit the 'Out of the East' collection at the British Quilt and Stitch Village Show in April 2018
