New Member Beverley Youngman

 

Beverley Youngman is joining Out of the Fold from January 2024

Beverley's creative journey and explorations involve her getting outdoors and experiencing and responding to natural forms. Her local surroundings in Norfolk and the East Anglian coast are a constant source of inspiration.

Taking photographs, working into sketchbooks and mark making allow her to explore freely as a starting point. Thereafter she works intuitively in stitch, weaving, mixed media, collage and paint.

Out of the Fold at Textiles East Fair 2024

 

Out of the Fold will be the main exhibiting group at the Textiles East Fair in February 2024

We will be exhibiting the 'Unfolding series' from 2023 including a display of handmade fans. 

Plus a series of framed work - a mixture of old and new - from all twelve members of the group.

Work will be on show by Daphne Impey for the final time as she prepares to leave the group after so many years

Our newest member Beverley Youngman who joins in January 2024 will also have work on show
