A sad farewell to Daphne Impey

 

Daphne Impey is a founding member of Out of the Fold, the very last of that select group in fact. After 18 years as a valued and much loved member of the group Daphne is sadly leaving us.

Always modest and self-deprecating Daphne has produced an amazing array of work for group exhibitions.

We wanted to mark Daphne's amazing contribution to Out of the Fold and to present her with a gift as a reminder of her stitching friends. 

Current and past members were invited to make a 6" square on the theme of 'Orchard' and these have been made up into a quilted wall-hanging. The piece will be on display at the Textiles East Fair on Sat 10th and Sun 11th February 2024. Can you spot the individual makers?
