Lynne wins at Uttoxeter

Congratualtions to Lynne Pretty who won a first prize for her quilt **Field Of Cloth Of Gold** in the special theme category at The Uttoxeter show. The theme was Royalty and Lynne's quilt was inspired by the meeting of Henry VIII with the  the French king in France. Designs were taken from Henry's clothing and regalia. The quilt is made in silk and organza, some of the silk has been stencilled, and machine quilted.
