Janet Valentine has been working on a wonderfully colourful series of Textile Wallhangings which she has called 'Summer Stratum'
Janet says:
"Using the same base techniques (screen printing and applique) as previously but incorporating hand stitching to add detail and beads to add interest, I have now finished Summer Stratum III.
I feel sometimes it's worth working as a series to get all those ideas for that design out there and then be able to move on leaving no stone unturned or any 'unfinished business'.
